    The study conducted with X-rays showed that this picture has 20 layers and the thickness of each layer is 2 micrometers only. So, this means the painter used paints rubbered to nano powders. Was it possible in 1500 (if we follow a conventional version of history)? A layer with the thickness of 2 mcm is impossible to put on the surface using a brush. The technique utilised at the making this portrait is unknown. It seems the only possibility was a kind of a photography. Did Leonardo da Vinci take the picture and possess the technology of deposition of the image on the prepared wooden surface? Or the picture was made by a more developed civilisation before da Vinci's time? Too many questions…
